I am a mum of 2 – Nicole aged 7 and Oscar who is 5. I finished my studies to become a
teacher in April 2014 and now (July 2015) have secured the job of my dreams at Shotover Primary School.
Prior to this I was relieving at QPS and RPS in short and long term roles, and loved it!

My aim is to make learning fun and enjoyable for all and one
of my core values is that of Respect. Through developing relationships with
students, parents, families and the community my aim is to create a learning
environment where respect is at the heart of all that is done. Students will
then be able to take risks with their learning which will lead to greater
achievements.
I am passionate about learning and view myself as a life-long
learner and I hope to inspire the students in my care to emulate me in this
characteristic by asking questions and having never ending curiosity.
As a below knee amputee another trait I hope students will
learn from me is that of perseverance….try, try and try again. For me it is the
effort that is important rather than solely the outcome.
